Doing realistic looking mountains was not easy. The modelling of the mountains was the hardest thing for this task. After the, it was finding the right colours, material and texture to make them look realistic.
Firstly, I went into Add: Mesh: Plane. I went into Edit Mode and hit "w" and sub-divided the plane about four times. This just divides the plane into small squares...each time getting smaller as you press sub-divide. I then used pressed 1 to see the side view and used "b" to select the various vertices and raised them to looked kinda hilly and did the same on the top and at the other side. When i finished with the "hilly" look. It was time to colour it.
T therefore went into the Shading button, and changed the material to green. I wanted to make my mountain look a little more realistic so I decided to add some "hair" which would look a little like grass. I really just played around with the buttons until I got something looking like hair. I added another plane to make a little pond/lake in the middle of my mountains. To add the environment, I went into Shading again and clicked Stars.
They showed a preview of it. It was as easy as a click of a button. For the camera movement now, I went into the Animation SR1, selected the camera, clicked "i", Selected "loc", changed the frames to 50 and selected "loc" again.
