After Effects Part 1

Mainly for motion graphics design. With AE you can render for tv and still for websites. You can create flash movies.

Composition, New Composition, Choose grid/guide options, Choose Title/Action Safe.

Digital video is 720 x 480.

Can create new foldres two different ways.
1. Click on the folder icon at the bottom of the project window.
2. Shift, Command, ALT and N.

Command I to import files. Hold Shift key to import more than one file.

To import a whole folder, double-click on the black space in your project window. The import window will open. You will now click the "Import folder" button at the bottom on the window to import the whole folder.

Home and End oes to the beginning and end of the timeline.

NB: For Macbook users, the End and Home buttons can be activated by holding Command and pressing the up nd down keys.

Can press spacebar to preview the movie.

Rotate = R
Scale=S
Position=P
Opacity (Transparency)=T

Can use F2 to deselect stuff.

Can use arrow keys to move objects straight.

For butterfly to follo walong the path, go to Layer, Transform, Auto-Orient, Orient along Path.

You can copy and paste effects from one layer to the next like in photoshop.
